Your Privacy

At Skinnyo we understand that weight is a sensitive and private issue, as such your full weight is always kept a secret from other members, who will only ever see the weight differences between your updates.

Although your weight is always a secret, we do offer two privacy options which you can change at any time to reflect how public or private you would like to your presence on Skinnyo to be.

Profile Privacy

When you create an account on Skinnyo your profile page is restricted by default. This means that only other Skinnyo members can view your profile, which includes your updates, comments, badges and any other information you choose to enter.

You can change this setting to unrestricted in your profile settings, which will enable anyone on the Internet to see these details.

Photo Privacy

Photos you upload to Skinnyo are private by default. This means that only you will be able to see them and is represented by a small padlock next to the photos at all times. You could for example use this feature to keep a photo diary of your weight loss progress that you may not want other members to see.

Every time you upload a photo you have the option to change this setting and make it public, this only applies to the photo you are currently uploading. If you choose to make the photo public then it will appear with your weight update where ever that appears, including in challenges, friends homepages and on your own profile page.

Confused?

If you have any more questions about how we handle privacy on Skinnyo just drop us a message and we will get back to you.
